Odessa partners with Blount Senior Care to deliver primary care through the TV

Cindy Canfield, Chief Operating Officer of BSCP chose OdessaConnect because of its simplicity and the commitment Odessa demonstrated to the relationship. Canfield said, “There are a lot of good technologies in the healthcare space, but very few vendors are willing to walk alongside the organization after the sale.” She adds, “Our patients didn’t grow up with smart phones and tablets, but they certainly know how to use a television. They will be very pleased to have the option of connecting with their healthcare provider on a much larger screen from the comfort of their home and we look forward to collaborating on a new model of care delivery in the home.” Greg Kenny, will serve as the liaison between BSCP and Odessa’s design and development team, working to further enhance the value of Odessa’s service to the success of the partnership.

“Our patients… will be very pleased to have the option of connecting with their healthcare provider on a much larger screen from the comfort of their home.”

OdessaConnect CEO and Founder, Todd Smith said, “This partnership will allow Odessa an opportunity to provide a level of digital accessibility to healthcare that didn’t exist for many seniors in East Tennessee. For all the focus on the last mile of connectivity, we can’t forget about the last few feet into the home; this is where we finally reach the patient and why we believe Odessa is a key component of the patient experience.”
